Putin: World comes close to point of no return

The world has come close to the point of no return, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, Report informs.

He made the remark in a meeting with the leadership of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Russia while speaking about "the West's calls for a strategic defeat of Russia."

Putin stressed that Russia constantly offered constructive security solutions to foreign partners, but all attempts went unanswered: “The West decided that they had won the Cold War and could determine the world order, and answered Moscow’s questions with excuses.”

According to him, the world is changing rapidly, neither global politics nor economy will be the same as before.

Putin noted that the foundations of the multipolar world order are being formed on the basis of the new reality:

“The establishment of the multipolarity principles in international affairs allows us to solve the most complex problems together.”
