Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev will discuss relations between Baku and Yerevan in Astana, Assistant to the President of Russia for Foreign Policy, Yuri Ushakov, told journalists, Report informs.
“We highly value the relations with Azerbaijan. Of course, we will exchange views not only on bilateral issues but also on the state of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” he said.
The Kremlin official emphasized that the tripartite agreements reached through the personal mediation of Vladimir Putin are the basis for stabilizing relations between Baku and Yerevan.
According to the assistant of the Russian President, Moscow intends to propose holding the next summit in a tripartite format with the participation of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia: “We are hopeful about deciding the date for this summit very soon.”
