Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with the permanent members of the Security Council the course of the special operation in Ukraine, as well as negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations, Report informs citing RIA Novosti that the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"The meeting participants discussed the course of the ongoing special military operation, as well as the negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations," Peskov said.
"The need was also emphasized to actively counter informational and other sabotage by Ukraine, such as what took place in Bucha," the spokesman said.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Speakers of both Houses of Parliament Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev and Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Head of the Kremlin Administration Anton Vaino, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, FSB chief Aleksandr Bortnikov and Foreign Intelligence Service Chief Sergey Naryshkin, as well as the special presidential envoy for environmental protection, ecology, and transport Sergey Ivanov.
