Sarkissian admits Armenia was lagging behind during war

"We sustained losses in this war... Armament and hardware were crucial, and the Armenian side was lagging behind in this issue," Armenian President Armen Sarkissian said at a meeting with the Armenian community in Rome, Report informs, citing Sputnik Armenia.

"Certainly, we need to say what was wrong. People who bore responsibility should sit at a table and discuss how it could be that we did not win that war. There are responsible people, whose responsibility is to analyze the war and the reasons of the defeat," he noted.
