A decision has yet to be made on companies to participate in air cargo transportation between Armenia and Turkiye, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration of Armenia Armen Simonyan said, Report informs referring to Sputnik-Armenia.
He was answering a question from Sisak Gabrielyan, MP from the Civil Contract faction, at a meeting of the parliamentary commission on economic issues.
Simonyan noted that the flights, most likely, should be carried out on a parity basis. It is not yet clear how these transportations will be organized, and which companies will take part in them from each side, the deputy minister added.
“But as soon as we get a clear picture, we will be able to discuss different options,” Simonyan said.
Turkiye has recently informed Armenia about the lifting of the ban on direct air cargo transportation.
