In mid-December, a business mission will arrive in Baku with the participation of more than 80 Uzbek manufacturing companies, which will present goods from different industries at the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition.
Wine culture, tourism potential and folk-applied art of Uzbekistan will be presented, Report informs referring to the Uzbek Embassy in Azerbaijan.
The exhibition and presentations will be held on December 15-17 at the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard.
Uzbek companies will present products of the textile, leather and footwear, silk, food, chemical, electrical, pharmaceutical, construction, furniture and engineering industries.
The business mission is organized by the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan with the assistance of the Embassy of this country in Azerbaijan.
The main goal is to promote the national products of Uzbekistan, establish links between Uzbek and Azerbaijani business communities, increase exports, familiarize visitors with the country’s production potential. It is obvious that cooperation in the creation of new import-substituting industries with high added value with the possibility of subsequent export of products to the markets of third countries is very promising.
The participating companies will hold a presentation of their products, B2B negotiations with Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.
As part of the exhibition, there are plans to acquaint visitors with the gastronomic culture of Uzbekistan and treat them with festive pilaf.
