The US plans to use foreign fighters present in Ukraine from CIS countries to destabilize the situation in their countries of origin, with special attention being paid to Belarus, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan, according to Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service, Report informs via Russian media.

"The US seeks to use the Ukrainian crisis to negatively impact socio-economic and socio-political processes in CIS countries. The goal is to create conditions for organizing 'color revolutions' there," according to video materials presented by the Foreign Intelligence Service at a meeting of security and intelligence services leaders of CIS member states.

According to the Foreign Intelligence Service, new attempts by the West to destabilize the situation in post-Soviet countries should be expected in the near future, focusing on their internal political calendar.

The US is focusing on the upcoming presidential elections in Belarus in 2025 and the presidential and parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan in 2026, according to the report.
