At the G20 summit in Indonesia, Russia will announce a number of initiatives related to gas cooperation with Turkiye, organizing the supply of grain and fertilizers, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, Report informs referring to Interfax.
“Russia will confirm its readiness to remain a reliable supplier of food products and energy resources to foreign markets on a commercial and humanitarian basis, however, rejecting any attempts at price and other external pressure,” Zakharova said in a response to a journalist’s question about the tasks of the Russian delegation at the summit.
The comment was published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
“It is planned to announce a number of specific initiatives in this regard, including building up gas cooperation with Turkiye, organizing the supply of large consignments of grain and fertilizers,” the report says.
During the summit, the Russian delegation will emphasize the importance of building logistics routes independent of political turbulence, technological clusters and payment systems. Moscow will pay special attention to the formation of “convincing outcomes of the Bali summit concerning the response to threats in the field of food and energy security,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
The Russian delegation at the G20 summit, which will be held in Bali on November 15-16, will be headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
