Zourabichvili: Celebration of Novruz in Georgia clear example of our cultural diversity

"The celebration of Novruz in Georgia has a centuries-old history. This is a clear example of the diversity of our culture and traditions," Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said in her congratulatory message to Azerbaijani citizens.

According to President, Novruz - the spring holiday means the awakening of nature, new energy, a fresh beginning, and hope for a better future:

"Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we did not have the opportunity to celebrate this ancient holiday together this year. I believe that the pandemic will be defeated through joint efforts. In the future, the traditional festival of the beautiful Novruz holiday will always be the beauty of the Georgian spring."

"I congratulate everyone marking the holiday both in Georgia and abroad on the occasion of the spring holiday, the arrival of a new day. I wish you peace, health, and a happy future," Zourabichvili added.
