Baku to host international conference of Turkic religious leaders

On October 21, an international conference themed "The richness of the Turkic-Islamic heritage and its value in the face of the topical issues of our time" will be held in the Gulustan Palace.

Report informs that Muslim religious leaders and scientists of the Organization of Turkic States will meet at the event.

In the conference that will bring together the well-known scientists and religious figures of Turkic geography, the participants will exchange views on the prospects of the Turkic-Islamic civilization and its contribution to peace and security in the world, and discuss steps that serve the common interests of the brotherly peoples and states.

On the same day, religious leaders will perform Friday prayers in the Heydar Mosque.
