"When we come to the territories liberated from occupation, we certainly remember the martyrs and pray for them. May Allah rest their souls! There are many temples in Karabakh. This is not the first visit of the Albano-Udi Christian religious community to these lands. Every time we come, we become witnesses of the atrocities of Armenians," chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian religious community Robert Mobili said during the visit of the community to the Tug village of the Khojavend region, liberated from occupation.
He said that these lands are sacred to them:
"The Armenians destroyed historical, cultural monuments associated with Islam. They destroyed or falsified even Albanian churches. These churches, temples belong to the independent Albanian church. This heritage is directly related to the Albanian cultural heritage. These temples have nothing to do with Armenian churches. The Armenians are alien here. They simply took advantage of the tolerance of the Azerbaijani people, falsified and presented these churches as Armenian. They alienated them from us. But today, the historical truth has been restored. Today, Azerbaijan is the heir of this cultural heritage. "
