150 children adopted in 2022

A total of 150 children were adopted through the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

Report informs, citing ministry, that 79 of them are boys and 71 are girls.

Monitoring is carried out every quarter in the first year of adoption and once a year in the following years to study the family's situation and the development level until the adopted child comes of age. This year, the condition of 771 children in the families where they were adopted was monitored.

From November 1, 2019, the management in the field of adoption was entrusted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. After that, a new modern management system was created on the electronic infrastructure in the field of adoption. Since then, 298 children have been adopted, including 152 boys and 146 girls.

This year, as a result of reintegration measures, 73 children were returned to their families from state children's institutions.
