Work to provide rehabilitation services for children affected by the war in Ukraine continues in Azerbaijan.
According to Report, on the initiative of the State Agency for Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, 30 more Ukrainian children arrived in Baku to receive rehabilitation services.
As part of a 10-day program to be conducted at the Agency's Gabala Children's Rehabilitation Center, the children will be provided with medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services, individual consultations with professional psychologists, group therapies, as well as yoga and dance therapy sessions. The rehabilitation program aims to stabilize their emotional state and support their integration into society. To familiarize the children with Azerbaijani culture and history, excursions to museums in Shaki and Gabala will be organized.
A total of about 150 Ukrainian children, including the previous five groups, have visited Azerbaijan and received socio-psychological rehabilitation services.
