Ministry holds meeting with Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Russia

Employees of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population held meetings with Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Russia and returned home due to the coronavirus pandemic, Report says, citing Ministry.

The collaborators cared about the current social situation of the citizens and their families and registered issues within the Ministry's competence.

The Ministry said relevant social support would be provided to those people and their families within the legislation (including disability, pensions, etc.).

The Azerbaijani government takes consistent measures to bring Azerbaijani citizens stuck abroad due to the COVID-19 disease. Citizens living in Russia and registered through the "I'm going home" portal receive notifications in advance by a phone call or SMS notification about their evacuation date.
