Azerbaijan's stand awarded at international exhibition

Azerbaijan's stand was given an international prize at the OTDYKH Leisure international exhibition and forum in Moscow, Russia, on September 7-9, Report mentions, referring to the State Tourism Agency.

The Azerbaijani stand differed from other participating countries in exhibiting its tourism potential and was awarded in the nomination "Best Presentation."

Delegates of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Azerbaijan Hotel Association, Nakhchivan Tourism Department, and 11 local tourism companies took part in the 27th forum exhibition organized by Azerbaijan.

A special session on "Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities and development of new routes" took place in the forum. More than 200 speakers from 15 countries spoke at a session on 40 various topics, joined by more than 2,000 participants.

The exhibition was attended by more than 350 companies from 18 foreign countries, including Azerbaijan, Moldova, Bulgaria, Belarus, Russia, Germany, Spain, Cyprus, Egypt, Tunisia, India, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Thailand, Tanzania, Brazil, and Cuba.

The annual exhibition brings together representatives of tourism organizations and agencies, government and public organizations specializing in tourism.
