An interagency task force overseeing the Philippines' coronavirus response has set rules for those who intend to visit the Asian country next month, said Harry Roque, Spokesperson of President Rodrigo Duterte,
According to Roque, foreigners who arrive in the Philippines after February 1 must have a valid visa at the entry time.
"These foreign nationals must have pre-booked accommodation for at least seven nights in an accredited quarantine hotel or institution. They must get tested for coronavirus in the hotel or another facility on the sixth day of their stay," ABS-CBN quoted Roque.
To date, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country has exceeded 521,000. Of them, 475,765 have recovered. The death toll is 10,600.
