Tourism Capital of Turkic world passes from Shamakhi to Turkistan

The closing ceremony of the "Tourism Capital of the Turkic World 2023 - Shamakhi" was held today in Shamakhi, Report informs, citing STA.

The event, organized by the State Tourism Agency (STA) and supported by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), was attended by representatives of OTS member states responsible for tourism, delegations of Turkistan, Kazakhstan, and the Executive Power of Shamakhi district.

At the closing ceremony, along with Shamakhi, the tourism potential of the city of Turkistan, which has been chosen as the tourism capital of the Turkic world for 2024, was presented to the event participants, and promotional videos were shown.

At the end of the closing ceremony, a symbolic key was presented to the delegation of Turkistan.
