Tunisia cancelling PCR tests & quarantine for vaccinated tourists

The Tunisian authorities from June 1 are canceling the requirement to provide a negative PCR test result and quarantine for citizens arriving in the country who have been vaccinated against coronavirus or who have recently recovered from the disease, according to the press release of the Tunisian prime minister, Report informs referring to RIA Novosti.

“From June 1, they are exempt from mandatory quarantine and the provision of a negative PCR test result: arriving citizens who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus and who have a certificate of this with a QR code or a document received from health authorities; as well as those arriving who had COVID at least six weeks prior to arrival,” the document says.

For other passengers over 12 years old, the requirements remain the same: a negative PCR test result with a QR code and seven days of quarantine.

At the same time, the authorities will continue to conduct rapid tests for arriving people and, in case of a positive result, isolate them.
