Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia mull potential cooperation

Representatives of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) held meetings with a number of institutions in the capital Riyadh within the framework of a business trip to Saudi Arabia, and discussed potential cooperation, Report informs citing AZPROMO.

According to the information, at the meeting with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), the parties discussed the organization of joint events and the establishment of relations between companies, including the "Digital Economy" event planned to be held in Jordan in May of this year and the "Sustainable agriculture" event planned to be held in Azerbaijan in November.

Yusif Abdullayev, executive director of AZPROMO, gave information about the first investment forum of Azerbaijan, which is planned to be held within the framework of COP29, and the importance of the platform in terms of bilateral sustainable partnership was emphasized.

During the meeting with Khattab Group, the executive director of AZPROMO, Yusif Abdullayev, provided information about the investment potential of the country, including special economic zones, applied concessions and privileges. The group expressed interest in investing in Azerbaijan.
