Azerbaijani judoka claims European champion crown

Azerbaijani judoka Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) became the winner of the European Championship, held in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb.

Report informs that the three-time European champion, who defeated Adil Osmanov (Moldova) in the semi-finals, upset his opponent in the decisive match.

Having defeated Danil Lavrentev (AIN), Heydarov entered the history of Azerbaijani judo as the only four-time European champion.
