Lavrov: Yerevan’s claims about inaction of Russian peacekeepers unfounded

It is unfounded to claim that the Armenians left Karabakh due to the alleged inaction of Russian peacekeepers, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with a number of Russian media, according to Report's Russian bureau.

“When the document [tripartite agreement] was signed..., it said nothing about the need to ensure special rights for the Armenian minority in Azerbaijan, therefore, it is not right to say that the Armenians left Karabakh because of the inaction of our peacekeepers," he said.
