Ukraine receives armored personnel carriers from Lithuania

Lithuania has transferred M577 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, according to the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

Their number is not specified.

In response to requests from Ukraine this year, Lithuania has already supplied 155-mm ammunition, M577 armored personnel carriers, anti-drone systems, winter equipment and warm clothing, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, RISE-1 remote detonation systems, generators, partially disassembled L-39ZA Albatros light attack aircraft and other support.

Lithuania provided Ukraine with military assistance worth about 610 million euros. Some 84 million euros has already been provided this year and the aim is to maintain this momentum.
